busy weekend

Yesterday was a crazy day…
• First off, we started our 21 day Daniel Fast.  Which kicks my butt (no drinks, sweets, breads, or meat).  How will I ever make it? Our creative meetings are always at Starbucks, so we all drank Ethos water today (I missed you grande white mocha).  You can read more about it here if  you’d like.

• As you can tell, I’ve also done some work to the site.  Its a work in progress.  I finally moved it to my own hosting and and honestly I’m quite clueless, I’m not a web guy.  So things may be funky for a few days.

• Several things went wrong… um we ran a video worship track (band playing by click track with video) and it froze the iMac during the 8:00 service.   ProPresenter let me down bad.  During the 9:30 the power went out.  Thats always fun.  Some lady said the Devil did it because he didn’t want people to hear the sermon.  Yea, that’s it… because our room only fits 500, its not like Pastor can’t speak loud enough for everyone to hear him without a mic.

• Lastly and by far my favorite things thats happened this weekend (work wise)… We ripped our stage out yesterday afternoon and have a week to rebuild it.  I mean we gutted it to the slab.  Our stage is very old school and we’ve been working around it for some time now, but we’ve finally had enough.  Here are some pics.  I’ll post some later in the week of the progress.
