my top 5 christmas movies
// December 18th, 2008 // entertainment, film

This was my list last year…
- 1. Elf (I could watch it 1000 times)
- 2. Home Alone
- 3. A Christmas Story (a classic)
- 4. How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Ron Howard version of course)
- 5. National Lampoons Christmas Vacation
Earlier in the week, I was wondering if it had changed some. And yep, I think it has… here’s my new list:
- 1. Elf (there’s a small chance that’ll never change)
- 2. A Christmas Story (which is playing this Friday at the Saenger if you wanna go)
- 3. National Lampoons Christmas Vacation
- 4. Home Alone
- 5. How the Grinch Stole Christmas
Ok, so my list was only rearranged. I would say though that my runner-ups would have to be Earnest Saves Christmas and Jingle All the Way (who doesn’t love Ahnuld at Christmas). Of course I kid, I kid.
What is your current top 5 list, and has it changed at all over the last few years?

Top 5
1. Elf (been showing that all week during free time in class)
2. It’s a Wonderful Life
3. How the Grinch Stole Christmas ( Jim Carey)
4. How the Grinch Stole Christmas (cartoon)
5. The Family Stone (kinda girly, and a bit uncomfortable at times, and a little messy)
