my top 5 christmas movies

This was my list last year…

  • 1. Elf (I could watch it 1000 times)
  • 2. Home Alone
  • 3. A Christmas Story (a classic)
  • 4. How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Ron Howard version of course)
  • 5. National Lampoons Christmas Vacation

Earlier in the week, I was wondering if it had changed some. And yep, I think it has… here’s my new list:

  • 1. Elf (there’s a small chance that’ll never change)
  • 2. A Christmas Story (which is playing this Friday at the Saenger if you wanna go)
  • 3. National Lampoons Christmas Vacation
  • 4. Home Alone
  • 5. How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Ok, so my list was only rearranged. I would say though that my runner-ups would have to be Earnest Saves Christmas and Jingle All the Way (who doesn’t love Ahnuld at Christmas). Of course I kid, I kid.

What is your current top 5 list, and has it changed at all over the last few years?

    Top 5

    1. Elf (been showing that all week during free time in class)
    2. It’s a Wonderful Life
    3. How the Grinch Stole Christmas ( Jim Carey)
    4. How the Grinch Stole Christmas (cartoon)
    5. The Family Stone (kinda girly, and a bit uncomfortable at times, and a little messy)
