My faves are real simple this week, actually its just fave. I’ve been digging one thing over the last few days…

Thats right, Butter Rum Lifesavers. Man these things are amazing, like Lays potato chips amazing. Once you start, forget about it, you’re not gonna put them down. It won’t be long and I’ll be splurging for this.

1. FaceYourManga.com. Check out my new avatar… I call it Trenime. Convert yourself into a cartoon here.

2. Batmans new ride. Since the gas prices have been so high, he had to get Lucious to make him a new car so crime fighting wouldn’t cost so much.

3. The Great Fiction. Jeff hooked me up with this album the other day, Im really digging it.

4. Business Meeting. Check this fun little vid that Will and crew did for Icon (student ministry), its pretty awesome. Just so you know, its a slight rip of this video.

Have an amazing weekend guys.

1. Arrested Development. Thanks to Wingo, Beck and I got hooked on Season 1 of Arrested Development and now I know what all the fuss was about when it was cancelled. This show is hilarious. I can’t wait for the movie next year!

2. Vampire Weekend. I’ve gotten hooked on this album, its a lot of fun (their name doesn’t fit at all). It’s got a Police vibe to it… its a very cool sound.

3. Burn Notice. I watched the pilot on USA last season and I didn’t care for it to much, but I gave it another chance and man am I glad I did. This show is really good, its packed with action, comedy, and a very unique premise. Its worth checking out, you won’t be sorry.

4. Phil Wickham’s Singalong. Singalong is live album that Phil did with a just a guitar at a church in Portland. The best part is that its free. Thats right free. Get it here.

5. Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog. This is a different singalong than the one above, I posted a few weeks ago about how awesome these short films are, but they’re even better now because they are on hulu, for free. So check’m man.

1. Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog. Neil Patrick Harris in a musical by Joss Whedon… does it get any better. Do yourself a favor, download all 3 Acts now.

2. Watchman Trailer. I’m not a super geek by no means, I’d never even heard of the Watchman graphic novel until all the hype started about the movie a few months back. But after watching this trailer, I’m definitely geeked up about the movie.

3. MacBook Touch. You read that right. It’s just a rumor, but sign me up.

4. Gabe and Max’s Internet Thing. Hilarious. This could quite possibly make your day. (ht: brody)

5. Rocky Horror remake. I’m not sure this is a fave. I love the original Rocky Horror Picture Show so it makes me a little nervous that MTV is gonna do a remake. If you’ve never seen it in a theater or live on stage you’re missing out. Its a lot of fun.

Hope everyone has an awesome weekend!

Here are a few of my favorite things from this past week.

/1. Lars and the Real Girl. A story about a guy who buys a sex doll and thinks that its his new girlfriend may seem like every other movie you’ve seen, but let me assure you its not. Rent it, download it, pay-per-view it, or buy it… I promise you won’t be sorry. Look for my review to be up soon.

/2. The Superhero Guide to Famous Pastors. If you haven’t started reading Stuff Christians Like yet, you really should, especially if you’ve been in the church world for any amount of time. This post is hilarious, and there’s a sequel.

/3. Michael Bay’s rejected Dark Knight Script. Hilarious. What if Michael Bay had written The Dark Knight? Spill has “found” pages from this fictional spec screenplay which was “ultimately rejected by Warner Bros.”

/4. Brad Ruggles Muxtape. This week Brad did a post featuring his favorite music and he followed that up with a muxtape with the top song from each of those albums. Take a listen, its good.

/5. iPhone 2.0 Apps. My top app so far is Twitterific, but I’m also liking the Facebook app, Yelp, and MixMeister Scratch which is a DJ scratch machine for your iPhone. I’m still exploring the App Store, but I’m most disappointed that there’s not a Wordpress app yet.

Happy 4th peeps. Here are a few of my favorite things for the past week.

./1 High Five song. The real title is The Dynamo of Volition, but I call it the High Five song… its a fun little song on Jason Mraz’s newest album you should check out.

./2 Squeeze Me video. You’ve got to check this video out, it uses the old flip-book style animation and its very cool & creative. Kinda reminds of something Spike Jonze would do. The band is Kraak & Smaak, pretty cool tune to.

./3 Quantum of Solace trailer. I know its a weird title, but its the new 007 movie and it looks reeally good. I love the new direction the series has taken, and I love Daniel Craig in that role. Take a minute and watch the trailer.

./4 Battle of the Batmans. I found this on /Film I think its pretty funny. The Pitch: Four Batmans wear the cape, but in Gotham City, there can only be one. Cut together using footage from all the contemporary Batman movies.

./5 Church Sign Generator. This is worth a few minutes of your time, you can create any church sign you want. Have fun.
