The Brighter concert photos

Last Wednesday night was an incredible night of worship with our youth worship band The Brighter which we recorded for both a CD & DVD release. Our Creative Team is crack-a-lackin’ on this project hoping to get it out soon. As promised, I plan to post a few rough cuts here during the process as well as a few surprises along the way. Until then, I wanted to wet your appetites with a few killer photos that my boy Casey Lee took of the night! (Marcus Neto I’d slap yours up too if I had’em:)  Enjoy.

I love Vimeo. Just needed to get that out. Anywho, I came across this beautiful stop motion piece that I needed to share. Olympus put this together as promotion for their camera, the PEN. They shot 60,000 stills, then developed the 9,600 pics you see, then reshot another 1,800 pictures. The crazy thing is that there was no post production. Whaaaa! Yea its pretty cool… also you can download the music free here. Enjoy.

Last night I was watching a few shows on hulu and this commercial ran before one of the shows and I thought it was brilliant. Obviously I don’t endorse the product, but the creativity of the spot is worth sharing.

Over the last month, I’ve been working with a couple of guys on producing a short film (I’ll post more details on the project a little later). Today, we hit downtown Mobile scouting locations and getting a little b-roll/test footage in prep for our principal shoot later in the month. I took tons of shots on my iPhone, and I thought a few of them turned out pretty rad (all of these were shot and edited using apps on my phone).
